Be A Photoshop Goddess

Most photographers buy Photoshop because they want to add something special to their images. They want to be able to edit in such a way that turns a photo from drab to fab. The problem is that at at the beginning none of us have the slightest clue as to how to use Photoshop – and we don’t know where to start.

When I first started using Photoshop I felt so overwhelmed and so confused all at the same time. I turned to the only place I knew could help me – Google. I learned every single thing I know in Photoshop from the absolute kindness of strangers online who were willing to share their hard earned tips, hints and secrets on the web. Because of this, I feel it is my duty to give back to the photography community as much as I can in the same way that those lovely individuals gave me so much knowledge.

And the best part? It’s all for free.

How did I miss all these videos before?! OMG!! I love all your helpful videos! Have you ever used lightroom? I’ve been wondering lately if it is a quicker editing tool? Or is there a way to edit in photoshop where you can apply the same action to multiple pictures at the same time? Any suggestions on improving workflow?

Photoshop has been on my “to do” list for a few years now – I am a little better than I was, but still feel totally overwhelmed and confused. This is doubly frustrating as I actually teach computer programs as a profession (Photography is my “second job” at the moment). Thanks for these wonderful links. Greetings from Sydney, Australia. I’ll report back on my progress :)
