The internet is an amazing place for resources and inspiration, yet at the same time it can all become quite overwhelming and have the opposite effect. It’s so easy to become demotivated! I think one thing that helps me is seeing how far the photographer who I’m feeling demotivated by has come – so I sift back through to their very first blog posts, and most of the time there is an obvious improvement in their work compared to when they started out. This is so good to see, because it just proves that they didn’t start out ‘amazing’, they had to work at it, just like we do too!
