Hey there Taylor!

This is a great question, and one that I should possibly also cover in a tutorial, but I'll do my best to cover it here. An action is basically a mixture of effects that I have pre-recorded so that when you press play they are applied to your photograph. If you have your photograph and then apply "Sweet and Dreamy", "Sweet and Dreamy" will only be applied to what is underneath it's group layer. Anything you add on top of that action group layer will not be affected by "Sweet and Dreamy". For example, if you apply "Red Velvet" after having applied "Sweet and Dreamy", "Sweet and Dreamy" will then be affected by "Red Velvet" (because it is underneath it in the layers), but not the other way around. Each layer only affects what is beneath it. I know I'm probably making no sense, I will have to do a full tutorial on this for you! :)

Big hugs
xoxo

Hi Sarah!

Thank you! I'm happy that you think the tutorial is great, if there's anything I can do to improve the next tutorial please feel free to let me know! The point is to make Photoshop seem easier for the people who find it daunting/confusing - so any feedback is awesome! Thank you!

And you are too sweet! I'm thrilled that you told your 13 year old daughter and her friends about my blog :) Thank you for all of your kind words and support! It keeps me inspired and motivated!

Big hugs xoxo <3

They take up a huge chunk of my day when I do them, so feedback is always so very much appreciated! If you have any suggestions on how I could make it better or easier to follow along, please let me know! Thank you! Big hugs xoxo <3
