Take a look into my photography bag : Thirteen things.

ONE. My national rail card! TWO. My camera, the Canon 5d mark ii. THREE. The best strap I’ve ever had, I received it as a present and love it. Find a similar version online here. FOUR. Hair clips in case I need it or my client needs it! FIVE. Mac Pro Lash Mascara. Revlon Just Bitten Lipstain + Balm for days like these. SIX. Memory cards galore. SEVEN. Remote control – Canon RC-1 EIGHT. Extra battery, always charged (just in case!) NINE. Lenses: Canon 50mm 1.4 and Canon 28mm 1.8 TEN. My pretty little iphone. ELEVEN. Passport if travelling. TWELVE. Handy pen. THIRTEEN. Camera cord to upload to my computer.

I think it’s so important to find things to keep in your bag that will always make you feel totally confident and prepared. My back up battery, always fully charged, and my memory cards always keep me feeling prepared for my shoots – just in case something goes wrong! And for me, I absolutely ADORE the Kelly Moore Bags, I have the black classic and I really adore it. It’s very girly, and much more “me” than my old bag (which looked something like this). I’m also loving my new strap, which was given to me as a gift from my cousin. It’s so comfortable and you can find one similar here. These two things have made me feel so much more “fashionable” while shooting, which may not matter to some people – but it’s awesome to look good when you’re feeling so good shooting and keeps me feeling comfortable and confident :).

And there you have it, my beautiful Kelly Moore bag, filled with all of the things that I carry along with me on a shoot. BAM! What do you carry in your bag? What kind of bag do you have? Is it comfortable? SHARING IS CARING! I love you guys, hope you have a beautiful week.

Alex, great post! I love my Kelly Moore bags too, I have the B-Hobo in Red and the 2 Sues in Grey. So that split strap, the link shows it attached to each side of the camera like the standard straps that come with the cameras are. But your photo looks like it is hooked to the bottom of the camera? Or is it just the angle. That strap looks wicked comfy… maybe something to add to my ‘to buy/wish list’!

Hey Laura! You are totally right, that link was the wrong one – woops! It’s identical to it except it hooks into the bottom of the camera haha. I can’t find it anywhere on the photojojo site! Boo :( Oh well :) It’s an incredible strap though, so comfortable and I love how it slings over your body instead of around your neck! PS I want the B-Hobo SO BADLY! Haha! Great to hear you love it!

    Hello!
Actually a German blogger did almost the same thing last week! First she posted what is in her bag and then she asked her readers to send photos of their equipment in. If you are interested you can look it up here http://claire-norien.blogspot.com/2012/02/whats-in-your-bag.html#more

    mine is this one

I really enjoy looking at other people’s equipment :)
But I really come to think taht the people with the least equipment mostly really do the best work. I think that lots of people just think that their camera will do it for them and forget about their imagination, the magic they should add themselves. But that’s only my very own opinion, just wanted to share a little, I hope no one feels insulted. I don’t mean that lots oof equipment makes anyone a bad photographer. Not at all! Just that you can do magic with the tiniest things. The camera just helps you with it.

    Oh noo, I forgot!
I really liked this post, very interesting.
And I would like to have a bag like this soooo badly, it looks simply gorgeous. And if not as a camera bag I would take it with me wherever I go. It’s really cool.
But unfortunatly I am not able to afford this right now… maybe some other time :)
