This is where the magic happens.

I’m sitting in “my office”, which is pretty much a small desk pushed up against a fire place that hasn’t been used for probably thirty years. This is where I work – most of the time ;). I have post it notes surrounding me filled with all of my dreams. There are polaroids next to each dream. Polaroids of moments I will never forget, polaroids of moments I will forever cherish. I use the top of the fireplace as a shelf, where some of my favourite inspirational books live. There’s also a massive clock above me, leaning on the top of the fireplace. It’s a huge french-inspired clock, one which I borrowed from a store for this shoot – and then broke it on location, so ended up having to buy it. But I love it. It was really a blessing in disguise.

These are just a few small details from today that I never want to forget. So I’m documenting it here on the blog to make sure that I always remember.

My “office” is a happy place. It’s comfortable, and it surrounds me with things that make me smile. I can’t wait till the day that I have an actual office, one that I don’t have to share with my bedroom – but I know I will always look back at this and remember it fondly :).

I love your workspace!! I’ve been adding to and adjusting mine over the last few weeks, and it’s starting to get to how I want it to be; I may have to do a post about it soon as well! x

Great post Alex! I love that clock! :)

Id be quite interested to know a little more about those books on your shelf? What books/authors have you found most useful or inspiring?
