Photography Workshops with Alex Beadon Photography!

I am hosting two workshops in the month of August, each covering wonderful topics that I am very passionate about.

The first workshop:

The first will be dedicated to artists of the world who want to learn more on creating beautiful imagery.

Sunday, August 14th 2011.

10am -5pm.

£199.

This workshop will be totally focused on creating beautiful and creative portraiture. We will cover three main topics:

1) The creative process
The artist within. How to come up with ideas. How to bring those ideas to life. 

2) Shooting Techniques & Using Natural Light
What to look for, how to create a masterpiece no matter what time of day.  

3) Everything I know about Photoshop.
We will be covering ways to create magic with photoshop, things like how to make people levitate etc… :) 

4) ** CREATIVE PHOTO SHOOT INCLUDED! **
We will have a model who will have been beautified by a professional hair stylist and make up artist. This is going to be an AMAZING creative photo shoot. Theme will be a total surprise, but expect beauty, magic and wonder. 

5) Photoshop Part II
 You will then have the chance to Photoshop these images in the class, so that you can put your new skills to work!

The second workshop:

Dedicated to those who own or aspire to own photography businesses.

Sunday, August 21st 2011.

10am-5pm.

£199.

This workshop will be aimed at those who want to learn more about social media and how to use it to the best of your abilities to help build a following and why that is so important. It will also be about branding – how to build and develop a brand. We will finish off with learning about Photoshop,

1) How to use Social Media to the best of your ability.
Including how to build a following and why that is so important. 
2) Beautiful Branding. 
What is branding? What is it’s importance? How to create a brand. How to go about developing your brand. 
3) Photoshop.
An overview of every single thing I know about Photoshop. You will also leave with a guide along with all of the actions that I use on a regular basis. 
4) *A Creative Photo Shoot!*
We will have a model who will have been beautified by a professional hair stylist and make up artist. You will then have the chance to Photoshop these images in the class, so that you can put your new skills to work!

5) Photoshop Part II
 You will then have the chance to Photoshop these images in the class, so that you can put your new skills to work!

We will be about a five minute walk from the nearest train station (Great Malvern). 

I can’t WAIT to meet you guys, and I can’t wait to have fun together learning, creating, and making our dreams come true.

    So I kind of feel embarrassed because I almost didn’t even read this post because it was going to make me sad that you live half a world away from me…..BUT….I’m so glad I did because you mentioned maybe Florida!! I live in San Diego, California (which is one the other side of the country) but I would TOTALLY fly out to Florida to have the chance to meet you! :) Hope you get enough people that want you out here! :) See you soon! ;)

    This is great, thanks Alex. Unfortunately I can’t do either date, but I’ll keep my eyes open for any other photography and/or Photoshop workshops you do in the future.

    i wish i could go to worcestershire! i would LOVE to go to BOTH your workshops!! :) well especially the photoshop ones. i love your post processing and creative use of light. anyways, i live in detroit, MI, so if you come to toronto, let me know because i’ll have to update my passport!!!! :) loves!
