Yesterday I went outside to take some macro photos with my 50mm 1.4 (find out how to do this here). It’s really hard to focus properly with it, but when you get it right it can really produce some spectacular results. Here are the photos that I ended up with by stalking this cute little spider who is smaller than my pinky fingernail :).

Pretty cool, isn’t it? I ended up using that last one for my photo of the day for my 365 project. I love that his legs are in focus while he builds his web – so fascinatingly beautiful and it really reminds me of the small and wonderful things that happen in this world and go unnoticed. Beautiful mister spider, I noticed you this time :).
