I have to admit, the night before the workshop was a stressful one.
“What if my computer stops working 15 minutes before we start?!”
“What if the workshop isn’t what everyone is expecting?!”
“What if I wake up late that morning and have to rush to get ready?!”
But I woke up on the morning and all of the nervousness changed to pure excitement. I was raring and ready to go, and it was wonderful :).
I hosted my very first workshop and I was able to spend a beautiful day with an amazing group of photographers!
For the first half of the day we covered Branding, Social Networking & Marketing yourself online, and Creativity & Inspiration.
And for the second half of the day we photographed Roanna, our beautiful model, and then moved back inside to go through Photoshop techniques. I have to say, I’m so proud of myself and so thrilled at the opportunity to share. As they say – sharing is caring ;).
Here are the attendees, please go and visit their sites and leave them some love!! :)

Here’s a photo of all of us on the day:
Meet Charlotte – stunningly beautiful and rocking out her skills behind the camera. Find her flickr here.
This is the wonderful Susie – a wedding photographer who is such a joy and romantic at heart :). Find her website here.
Here’s the fabulous Becca. She’s such a talented wedding photographer and a bundle of energy! Find her website here.

And last, but not least, here’s the tattoo-loving Graham – a true artist at heart. Find him here: Twitter | Blog | Website
On the day we also had the beautiful Alexandra Dyson come to do Roanna’s hair and make up. She did a fab job, but I honestly think she could be a model herself.
Here are some behind the scenes shots of everyone shooting Roanna :).
And here are my shots of Roanna:
She was honestly one of the best models I have ever worked with, so professional but so friendly, up for anything, and totally aware of her body and face – angles and all – which to me is a recipe for an incredible model.
I have to say a big thank you to everyone who was involved in the day – especially Graham and Charlotte who drove about three hours to get here! I had an incredible time, and I’m so happy to have made some amazing new photography friends :).
Lots of love xxx
PS I will be travelling all day tomorrow – so if I do not respond to your emails straight away, please forgive me!
