Free Photoshop Action – Ocean Waves!

Back in September I created an action called “Rose” and gave it away here on the blog for free. The response was awesome and I received many emails from people saying how much they loved the action. So, I decided to release another one, this time it’s called Ocean Waves.

Unlike Rose, Ocean Waves works well on a variety of photos. It adds contrast and colour and I feel it really adds something special to a photo.

Here are a few examples of before and after using Ocean Waves:

I hope you can all enjoy this action and that it works well for you. Don’t forget to try out different opacities and to play with the individual parts of the action to create your own effect. I even included a bit of a vintage wash. It’s hidden on the action, but if you open it up and check the box next to “Level Me 2″ it will add a nice warm affect to the photo (as used in the second example above).

DOWNLOAD THE FREE PHOTOSHOP ACTION “OCEAN WAVES” HERE.

Enjoy!!

UPDATE: The problems with it not working in Photoshops in different languages has now been fixed :)

I love it!! Thanks Alex, I think I’m loving it even more than Rose! And it’s not just because of it’s name. ;)

Alex, I’ve had great fun experimenting this evening with this. I’ve been playing around with actions for a while but am always disappointed with how harsh and unrealistic they look when they come back from the printer. I don’t know whether it is my PC screen or the quality of the printer. I’ve printed out some pics at home tonight of Tuscany using Ocean Waves and love them. Thank you so much! :)
