New York Art

A few weeks ago I visited the city of New York for the first time and, although I found it overwhelming, I could see why so many people are in love with NYC. Anyways, I took hundreds and hundreds of photos, and when I sat down to edit I realised that I wanted to do something really different from anything I’ve done before. S0 I came up with the following art pieces:

I think the last one is my favorite. I love how the tile on the wall of 59th street covers her eyes, keeping her anonymity. As soon as I get back to the UK I’m going to frame it and hang it up :)

Super unique and intriging. I haven’t seen anything like it. This is fantastic. I love it. I can look at those photographs all day. True art.

Really cool, love the first and last ones. Did you overlay and then turn them into negatives? Very interested in how you did this. Thanks for sharing

Hi Alex! It’s been so long since I visited (I forgot to update my google reader!). Anyway, when were you in NYC? I went up there in the middle of July but just for the day. Beautiful art! 3rd one from bottom is my favorite.
