Let’s talk BUSINESS >> How do you make your clients feel?

So … I go to Chipotle. A lot. It’s what I like to call, “Classy fast-food” and it’s where I LOVE to eat lunch. (Vegetarian burrito? Yes please!) Lately I’ve been going there so often that I’ve started to take note of a variety of things that they incorporate into their business, and I’ve started to wonder how these things apply to my own business. Today I want to talk about one thing in particular. The way you make your clients feel.

.

.

The other day I went to Chipotle and was blown away by the friendliness of the staff. They were all so happy and cheerful, I was served with the biggest smiles I have possibly ever been served with, they were polite and attentive to all of my requests and went above and beyond to build me the perfect burrito. They were so nice and so happy. As I took my seat I couldn’t stop thinking about how nice they were and what a positive impact it made on me. Their happiness somehow made me feel happier. I started eating my burrito and bite after bite I realised that this was hands down the best burrito I had ever had at Chipotle’s. I was blown away and couldn’t help but think that their contagious happiness had put me in a better mood and state of mind which, in turn, made me enjoy my burrito more than I usually would.

Somehow the happiness of their staff had made their burritos taste better. It made me want to stay. It made me want to eat more. It made me want to come back again for dinner. It made me LOVE Chipotle even more than I already do. And for Chipotle – this is a HUGE win. All because they made me feel good.

.

.

How can you apply this lesson to your business? What feelings do you wish to leave your customers with after a shoot with you? What can you do to encourage your customers to feel this way during the shoot? How can your business radiate happiness and positivity to make your clients feel happy and positive? Making your clients feel a certain way is strong enough to have an impact on their lasting impression of you, your brand and your business. This is totally worth it!

[JOIN the conversation in the Facebook group] Make a list of TEN things you could do to make your clients feel the way you want them to feel when consuming your product. I will be making my list and sharing it in the Facebook group. I’m hoping for everyone to get involved so that we can all stir up some great ideas for us to incorporate into our businesses!

The future belongs to the curious >> Wonderful Wednesday!

Skillshare – Curiosity from One Year Study on Vimeo.

Hey lovelies,

The video above inspired me to BE CURIOUS. And to ask questions. I love what he says about the importance of asking questions. And it made me all nostalgic about the fact that I’m growing up, getting older, and going through stages of life – aren’t we all? It makes me think of the absolute beauty that life is, how time goes on and on. The young get old and sooner or later they die, but when they die there are new young ones to carry on. Who will, in time, get old and die, it’s just the beautiful circle of life :) so this video makes me smile. We are all so lucky to be alive.

Big hugs

A shoot like this would be so much fun!

I must say, I have been so happy to hear from so many of you that this Photoshop tutorial really helped! Yay!

Let the world have a peep into your life –  A beautiful post which covers a topic I often wonder about: why we are so closed off in conversation to people, filling it with “small talk” instead of just being real with each other.

Draw what you see – “The switch that happens in the brain when you do this is something magical…”

The Deeper Side of Photography – I loved this post and can literally relate to each and every single point. Photography has made me a better person.

So inspired by the way this girl blogs. I love it!

Becoming a wedding photographer – One of my workshop attendees, Charlotte, on her journey to becoming a wedding photographer!

Oh my gosh! This video makes me want one of these! How beautiful :)

Wonderful video, I have to say, it is brilliant! :)

Dear Reader…

Dear Reader,

I apologise for the lack of blog posts lately. The last few days have been empty here on the Alex Beadon Photography Blog because my site was hit by a hacker, which is never fun. But I do apologise because I know that so many of you visit every day, and my goal is to give you something inspiring, creative, interesting, or educational each.and.every.single.day. Why? Not only because YOU are awesome and deserve quality content to keep YOU inspired, but because creating this quality content on my blog feeds my artistic soul and keeps me yearning and hungry, inspired for more. And believe it or not, I love blogging. The second I stop delivering something awesome each day, I fail you. I fail myself. And it’s an embarrassment. So. Here’s a post to say “I AM SO SORRY FOR THE LACK OF POSTS, THIS HACKER HAS REALLY TURNED MY BLOGGING LIFE UPSIDE DOWN AND I’M DOING EVERYTHING I CAN TO GET THINGS BACK TO NORMAL AS SOON AS POSSIBLE!”

I love you guys and thank you for your constant support! <3

I will leave you with a recent photo I did for my Every Day Project.

So sorry to hear you’ve been dealing with a hacker. What a serious nuisance. Glad to see you’re back! Also, I think that photo of yours is one of my all-time favourites :)

Wow, that’s really creepy! That’s exactly the kind of photo that I wanted to take! With mascara like that, the sad face and wet hair (though, not as wet as yours :)).
Really like it, the black and white is great!
Unfortunately I have to study tons for university. I am so bursting with inspiration and I would go and take photos every day, but at the end it’s too time consuming, I need to focus on uni right now. It’s such a shame because I’ve rarely been this motivated to shoot.
But once I finished all of my exams (March 7th :)) I will try a self portrait like this myself, finally!

Aww and the reason I am here right now is that I looked for another Chatty Tuesday. Sad thing that there isn’t any today :( But well, I am not disappointed, I am just even more looking forward to the next one :D
keep up your great work and your wonderful blog :)
